Emotional labor...

Cleansing negative energy doesn’t mean playing with the negativity and getting in your head about it.

It means to radiate the highest positivity with full TRUTH and SHINE. Show up 100% and the positive vibrations will naturally create a tipping point.

Create enough TRUTH Soul deep positive vibrations and the negative vibrations cannot exist in your reality.

This is not about toxic positivity or spiritual bypassing.

This is about showing up, fully empowered, fully present with all that is as it is and staying in your LIGHT.

As we come out of Navaratri (and integrate the 9 days of devotion to Divine Mother)and feel the full moon in Aries, we can all remember to show up and stand in our power.

To ride the waves of creation by consciously choosing to co-create with Divine energy and keep showing up for humanity in the highest way.

Cultivating Consciousness Daily

Consciousness is: the quality or state of being aware especially of something within oneself. 

I gave a talk this week on Insight Timer about cultivating consciousness daily. There are many ways we can cultivate this awareness of self throughout our daily life. So let's dive in and get you some tangible tools for your path. 

1. Awaken: like literally. Every day when you awaken you are going from the subconscious/unconscious to the conscious therefore the morning time upon awakening is the perfect time to drop in some gratitude or a purposeful pause that allows you to just become aware of how you are feeling and what you are sensing within the internal landscape. Note: you can take that purposeful pause throughout your entire day anytime you need to tune in:)

2. Breath: well you are already breathing! When we take the time to tap into our breath consciously we can begin to self regulate. Rapid breath is directly linked to the stress response in the body/mind paradigm. Taking a few moments to focus on slowing and evening out your breath is immensely powerful and helpful. Note: here is a link to a breath practice I love.

3. Intention: A lot of times when people set intention it is oriented toward a desire that results in a physical manifestation. I want to invite you to set an intention in how you are going to show up to an experience, conversation, meeting with the boss or HOA etc... As we cultivate consciousness we can raise our awareness of who we are and how we are showing up to what is showing up in our world.

4. Act Consciously: as our awareness expands and we are living consciously we can begin to be accountable to not only our emotions but also to how we are responding to our world. Taking responsibility for our reactions is a potent and powerful way to stay present with ourself as we navigate our daily life. Consciously choosing to respond from a higher frequency will take so much more awareness than just doing the habituated pattern of reaction. Try this one with little things like not slamming cabinets in your kitchen or mindfully setting the dishes on the table. Take the rush out of life and you will notice you have a lot more time!

Becoming Sovereign

Becoming Sovereign
When you choose comfort over truth, you will sacrifice your freedom. When you sacrifice your freedom you will lose your free will.

Your free will, consciousness and thumbs are the only things that separate you from all other animals on this planet. All mammals have brains, yours has the great ability to function in a higher state of consciousness. Unfortunately, many choose to live in the animal brain state or 3d consciousness.

If you are not awake and aware of what you truly want, who you truly are and what matters to you then you are going to be pushed into making decisions you don’t want to make in order to sacrifice for others under the illusive narrative of “doing the right thing” and there goes your free will.

Doing the right thing means you stand up for yourself, your values, morals and your truths. This is living with integrity. This is YOU living your life.

Integrity: the state of being whole and undivided.

Integrity and freedom go hand in hand for me. You cannot be divided and have integrity. There is no stability in this dualistic approach. You must awaken to your LIGHT. You must choose to stop riding in the comfort cart and doing what everyone has been programmed to do for the sake of comfort and convenience. You must get ILLUMINATED.

The truth is often inconvenient and uncomfortable at first however I promise you that the moment you get real is the moment you will start to experience a level of alignment beyond anything you have ever experience before.

This alignment leads to integrity and that integrity is the gateway to your freedom. You are not here to do what other’s think is right for everyone else. You are here to write your own story. You are here to do what you feel is in alignment with your values, morals and truths.

As you MINDFULLY make these decisions your reality will change. You will evolve. The only thing that matters is that you evolve in your own unique way and apply zero judgement or critic to the evolution of others. Your individuality is a gift. My prayer for you today is that you celebrate it because if you don’t use it you just might lose it.

Stillness is so needed right now.



Your Inner Cosmos is the landscape of your unique consciousness.

When we sit still and go inward we become aware of aspects beyond mind, beyond habit and conditioning.

There is a map within you.

You are the universe and you can deepen your connection and knowledge by sitting still.

You see, if you sit still, you are going to realize that you have value beyond what you produce.

This simple realization will lead to a new layer of #selfillumination
Try it. There is no wrong way to sit still.

Your Energy Level

This is the second part of last weeks blog about feelings. By now you have been observing your feelings and probably have become more aware of the way others around you feel also.

Frequency is all about YOUR energy. It’s what you show up with each and every single day and has a direct effect on every interaction you have in your life. As we begin to understand our feelings then we also begin to change our frequency. ALERT: some people are not going to like it when you change your vibe!

This is where you must practice DISCERNMENT. You have to learn how to spend your energy wisely. I am not saying that you start dropping your friends/colleagues that stress you out like mics 🎤 I am just saying that this may be where you start practicing limited exposure in order to recognize the difference and then ask yourself what brings you bone deep value.

I am saying that your frequency is your responsibility and you can shift it anytime you want. They key is your awareness. By using your feelings as a compass you can raise your frequency and clean up your aura. You remember me mentioning “your vibe attracts your tribe” last week. Let me give you a simple exercise to understand this.

Look at your five closest friends an you will see exactly where you are vibrationally as well as where you desire to be. Those things that you are attracted to, they reflect where you want to be and those things that you do not like often reflect where we are within ourselves yet not aware of those things consciously as we supress our personal feelings and this is why we get triggered by anyone we interact with.

This can feel like tough medicine, so I want to remind you that compassion is key on the healing journey. Compassion doesn’t mean complacency. Compassion means recognition, non-judgment and direction. If you are not sure where you are vibrationally check out this chart below that’s all about feelings and energy. It will give you a great idea of how you are resonating energetically when you have emotions aka feelings!

One of the easiest ways that you can start working with shifting your frequency and healing aspects of your life where you desire change is by listening to Solfeggio Frequencies. Here is a link to a wonderful starting point for you. I have played these for years at night. Efforless healing…how cool is this?! If you have never heard of these then keep reading for sure.

Solfeggio frequencies are part of the six-tone scale believed to have incorporated sacred music, including the beautiful Gregorian Chants. The unique tones and chants are found to impart spiritual blessings when they are played harmoniously. They have been tracked all the way back to John the Baptist! Below you can see how these tones have been used medicinally for decades.

So now that you are beginning to realize that everything is energy and you have the ability to spend your energy wisely (currency of consciousness: more on this next week!) the next step is taking action to facillitate the vibrational shift to the place you desire to exist within. Some ways that you can shift your frequency are:

  1. Gratitude (This is one of the quickest ways to amp up your vibration.)

  2. Love

  3. Meditation

  4. Breathing Practices

  5. Eat high vibe-nutirent rich food

  6. Movement

  7. Reduce or Eliminate Alcohol and sugar

  8. Think Positively

I personally practice all of these and I also love to dance. Getting physical is such and easy way to shift your frequency. Just turn on your favorite song and let it wash through you. However, I believe that breathing and meditation are the FASTEST ways to create a sustainable shift. In just THREE minutes a day you can shift your energy.
